Hashish

Hashish is produced from the THC-rich secretions of the Cannabis plant, very similar to the way opium is produced from the poppy plant. After collection from the marijuana plant this secretion is normally dried and then com- pressed into a variety of forms, normally balls or cakes. Normal THC value of hashish found in the United States ranges from 3 to 10 percent. The Middle East still today remains the primary source of hashish worldwide.
